Am I being Selfish?

Seeing a counsellor can help you to explore issues in your life that you are struggling with. This happens within in safe, trusting and confidential relationship. It can be a huge step to make that contact, to begin to acknowledge the difficulties you are experiencing. It is normal to be nervous about it and to think, “Am I being selfish or self-indulgent?”. It is very okay to look after yourself, your whole self, which includes your mental wellbeing.
